- Students at FWES have Physical Education with a certified Physical Education teacher:
- 6 day rotation-Grades 3 - 5
- 7 day rotation-Grades K-2

- WCPSS Healthful Living Curriculum in Elementary School is divided between Health, taught by the classroom teacher, and Physical Education taught by a Physical Education Specialist.
- WCPSS students are required to take Healthful Living every year Kindergarten through grade eight and one credit in High School.
- The PE Specialist at FWES is Mr. Eller ([email protected]). He has been in that position since 2003 and has been a Physical Education teacher for over thirty-two years.
- Physical Education is the study of Motor Skills, Movement Concepts, Health-Related Personal Fitness and Responsible Behaviors.
- Students in Physical Education receive a grade once a semester.
